GSB has 30HD TVs that will show a range of sporting events, a crowd-pleasing menu, and of course cold beer and craft cocktails. Located at 50th & France, where Edina meets Minneapolis.
Our Vibe
General Sports Bar (GSB) is a locally owned sports bar and kitchen located at 50th & France in Edina, Minnesota. The menu features top-notch burgers, wings, salads and bowls. Our signature Rotisserie Chicken, Lobster Roll and Cheesesteak Sandwich are at the top of our 'must have list’. Our drink menu includes a rotating lineup of 10 ice-cold beers on tap, craft cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic mocktails and dirty sodas.
Daily breakfast is served 8-11 am to kick off your morning workday and our weekend brunch begins at 9 am on both Saturdays and Sundays.
Happy Hour is Monday-Friday 3-5:30 pm & Late Night Happy Hour is Sunday-Thursday 9-10 pm.
Built as a true neighborhood hangout, GSB is where friends meet up after work or a quick brunch turns into a long afternoon hang. With 30 HD TVs, you’ll never miss a play. It’ll be all sports, all the time.
But it’s not just about watching sports. Reserve the "Caddy Shack," our golf sim room in our basement that is available to rent for private groups. Suitable for up to 8 golfers or smaller group gatherings up to 16 people. Rental cost is $50 for an hour and 10 minutes.

It's All in the Name
Our name, General Sports Bar, brings back the nostalgia of the original General Sports store that was located on France Avenue for over 50 years. Yes — we have their approval. The owners, Marty and Brett, remember having their hockey skates sharpened in their basement and will pay homage by having skate sharpening services by General Sports in the basement at GSB.
